ONE SMALL TASK, DONE.
Keyboard Key Tester
See which keys register, find a stuck key and count how many keys your keyboard reports at the same time.
Runs on your devicePress Start to begin. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.
How to use
- Press Start test.
- Press each key and watch it register; hold several keys together.
- Check the most-at-once count and look for keys that never appear.
Good to know
Keys are shown by their physical code, so your keyboard layout does not matter. Hold several keys together to check for ghosting or key rollover limits.
While the test runs, most key presses stay inside the page. Escape, F5, F11 and browser shortcuts still work, so you can always leave.
This test runs in your browser. Nothing about your device, your input or your microphone is sent to our server, and no result is stored. Advertising uses external services. Social and coffee links open external websites.
Questions
What is ghosting?
Some key combinations stop registering when pressed together. If a third or fourth key does not appear while holding others, the keyboard has a rollover limit.
Why do some keys not show?
System shortcuts such as Windows or Command combinations may be caught by the operating system before the browser.
