ONE SMALL TASK, DONE.
Song Key Finder
Open an audio file to estimate its musical key, with Camelot notation for DJ mixing.
Runs on your deviceHow to use
- Choose an audio file.
- Wait for the analysis.
- Read the key, Camelot code and other likely keys.
Good to know
The key comes from the balance of pitch classes across the whole track, matched against major and minor key profiles. Modal songs and key changes can mislead it.
The relative major or minor key is shown too, since the two share the same notes and are the most common confusion.

Questions
How do DJs use Camelot codes?
Tracks with the same number, or one step apart, usually mix harmonically. 8A and 8B are relative keys.
Why is the relative key listed?
A major key and its relative minor use the same notes, so analysis can confuse them. Listen to which chord feels like home.
